Albert Howarth Obituary, Albert Howarth has passed away joy anchie, August 5, 2023 Albert Howarth Obituary, Death – The love of Albert Howarth’s life was North Dighton resident Lorraine (Platt) Howarth, and she is the one he leaves behind when he passes away. She was the daughter of the late Albert L. Howarth and Rita G. (Brady) Sherman, and she was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Her mother and father have both passed away since then. Mr. Howarth proudly served his country as an active soldier in the United States Army during the Korean War. In that capacity, he was awarded the Purple Heart. After finishing his time in the military, Al embarked on a career that involved the installation of refrigeration systems and forms. When he was younger, he used to devote a significant amount of his time to competing in auto races at the Seekonk Speedway. After that, he started a career in the racing industry as an owner and trainer of race horses. Up until the day he died away, he was serving as Commander of the American Legion Post 302 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. He had held this post for the entire time. It was common knowledge that Al was known for his gregarious personality. His vocation was his greatest interest. Another one of his hobbies was the kitchen. He is survived by his wife, as well as his sons Michael, Christopher, and George, as well as his daughter Michelle, her son-in-law Robert Santos, and her daughter-in-law Jo-Ann Perry. In addition, he is survived by his daughter-in-law Jo-Ann Perry and her son-in-law Robert Santos.
