At approximately 11 a.m. on Thursday, Thomas’ ex-boyfriend allegedly opened fire on her as she was having a break in the parking lot directly across the street from the senior living facility. According to the police, the incident occurred. Thomas was with a man who worked at Linden Square and was 67 years old. The man was from the Saline region and worked there. As a result of the injuries that she incurred, Thomas, who was 40 years old and lived in Lenawee County. The guy sped away in a beige Ford Focus just as the police officers arrived at the scene, and they never caught up with him. While driving in the wrong direction on Ann Arbor Street, near to Willis Road, he was involved in a collision with another vehicle. At that time, a sheriff’s deputy from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, who had been en route to the scene of the accident, arrived there. After being shot with a stun gun by the deputy, the suspect was eventually taken into custody after the deputy completed his booking procedure.
