Anita Hunter Obituary, Death –  On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Anita Ruth Hunter, who was the wife of firefighter James (Honeyboy) Hunter, who had retired in 1996, passed away. The details of her passing are as follows: Visitation will be held on the evening of Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Laurel Room of the Laurel Land Funeral Home located at 7100 Crowley Road in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held in the Glenn Cemetery on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM. The cemetery is located at the intersection of 377 and 157 (Glenn Cemetery Road) in Tolar, Texas 76433. Amanda Corbitt, who had worked as a groomer for us in the past and was also a dear friend, lost her battle with lung disease not too long ago and passed away. Today, we said our final goodbyes to her. She spent years doing hair and makeup for a number of you, and she was an essential component of our staff. She is currently living with her mother and her two cherished pit dogs, Deimos and Pandora. Rest in peace, my untamed friend. I promise that the next time I watch a terrifying movie, I won’t forget about you.
