After Jennie’s father Lt Col Bullen died, Catherston Stud moved to Black Knoll House, Brockenhurst. Anthony built stables, an indoor arena, a foaling facility, and more stable blocks using the existing amenities to start married life. Anne and Lizzie, their daughters, are equestrian. Anthony constructed their first horsebox, Bird’s Eye, which held six horses, slept six people, and was short enough to take on a ferry abroad. Through trial and error, Anthony created the first artificial vagina for collecting semen from stallions using varying drainpipe sizes. Obituary
