There, he grew up with his brother Danny and attended Reading Schools, where he was noted for his quick wit, his smile, and the great number of friends he had. “Stef,” as he was known to everyone, was a good friend to many of his childhood friends, and those friendships lasted through his teen years hanging around in the old Marshalls parking lot and in his adult life getting together with them at Kitty’s for a beer after work and always remembering to bring home take out for Sheila. Stef was a great friend to so many of his childhood friends that he was known as “Stef” by everyone. After the death of his father while Stef was in his mid-teens, he came to rely heavily on his extended family, particularly his aunts and uncles. He was incredibly close to his extended family. Stefano has many years of experience working as a driver in the paving, towing, delivery, and construction industries for a variety of local businesses. Most recently, he has been working as a concrete mixer driver for Benevento in Wilmington. When you were in Stef’s presence, you couldn’t help but notice what a unique individual he was. Everyone who knew him, loved him, and treasured the friendship he brought into their lives will miss him indelibly. Relax, my good friend “cuz,” because both of you are being good.
