Before retiring in 2021, she was a faithful Dobbin House “family” member for 42 years. Beth was a delight to work with. She will be missed at Dobbin House “reunions”. Beth’s legacy of faith, hard work, and determination will always be a goal. As her sons and grandkids mourn her lovely character, we recall and cherish knowing her. She loved working and playing on the home farm with her brothers Ray and Vern and parents in South Weber. Davis High School and LDS Seminary graduated her in 1954. She served Hill Air Force Base. Working on Base, she met Don Wilson. They married in South Weber, UT, on September 14, 1963. They were sealed at Ogden Temple. Beth enjoyed gardening and was proud of her yard. She educated many people about plants and knew their names. Beth and her husband Don worked together to make their yard a lovely setting for photos. Her green thumb was lovely. Beth adored walking three miles a day. Beth walked South Weber in the morning and in the Rec Center in bad weather. She loved mysteries and read various kinds! Everywhere she went, she made friends. Everyone in South Weber knew Beth and her. Don retired and drove a Davis County School District school bus, while Beth became a South Weber crossing guard. Beth adored crossing guarding and meeting the kids and their parents. The whole community knew her. She was an active Latter-day Saint and lifelong member of the South Weber 1st and Pioneer Wards. Her years as Ward Librarian forged enduring bonds with ward members. Beth loved being the Stake Indexing Specialist. She worked hard and took this calling seriously for years. She indexed daily till her health declined. Family history was Beth’s passion. Her grandchildren loved her and will always remember Sunday dinners at Grandma and Grandpas with the finest apple pie, brownies, and angel food cake! Each knows Grandma adored them and is grateful for her love. Beth is survived by her son Matt (Nancy) Wilson of Farr West, grandchildren Sam (Ciara) Wilson, Emma (Jayden) White, Sophia & Ava, brother Vern (Marilyn) Peek, sister-in-law Gay Wilson, and many more loved ones.
