Beverly Chaney Obituary, Death – We are writing to express our deepest condolences to you and the Chaney family on the passing of Beverly Chaney and to let you know the news that we have received. Bev, who had been battling illness for a very long time, passed away on August 2nd, 2023. Nearly all of the people who have had the opportunity to work with Bev have acknowledged that she had a big impact on their careers. She invested a SIGNIFICANT amount of her time and energy into Scotty’s.

She continued to be an extremely diligent worker in spite of the fact that in 2009 she had been given a diagnosis of leukemia, that she fought the disease, and that she emerged victorious with the support of her brother Steve and the stem cells that he contributed, despite the fact that she had beaten the cancer with the help of the stem cells that he donated. Because she was the one that everyone felt comfortable opening out to, she most likely had a degree in psychology, which none of us really knew about.

However, we did know that she was an avid reader. This was due to the fact that she was the type of person to whom others felt comfortable disclosing anything. Because she was so straightforward and honest in all that she said and did, she garnered a great deal of respect from those around her. We were all aware of the standards that were set for us to follow. She had a way of making the work more bearable, and now that she’s gone, we all mourn her terribly. If I could turn back the hands of time, the one thing I would do differently is make sure that she was never forced to deal with illness in her life. Other than that, I wouldn’t alter a thing. Bev, we care so much about you and can’t express how much we miss you! I look forward to our next encounter. I am appreciative of the fact that you are you.
