Bill Shriver Obituary, First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon mourn Bill passing

Bill Shriver Obituary, Death – We must deliver the news to this church family about the demise of Bill Shriver with a heavy heart because it is with much regret that we do so. Bill and Karen were on vacation in New Mexico when this event took place. This morning (Saturday), he passed unconscious, and after being sent to the hospital in an ambulance, he was pronounced dead once he arrived at the facility.

The evening will be spent with Karen by her sister, who will be there tonight. Because of our Prayer Chain, a large number of people in this congregation are now aware of the issue and have been contacted. We have also reached out to other members of the family. On her Facebook profile, folks are already expressing their condolences to her family and friends, which is very touching to see.

Because Karen is still in New Mexico, we will go forward at Karen’s pace while she tries to come to terms with the suddenness of everything that has transpired and while she and her family begin to make preparations for their move.
