Brett Wilson Obituary, Brett Wilson has passed away joy anchie, August 2, 2023 Brett Wilson Obituary, Death – Because Brett was such a politically engaged young man, I had the pleasure of having him serve as an intern with me in both Ottawa and Prince George. Because of this, I had known Brett for a good number of years. He was devoted to his religion, his family, and his nation, and he worked very hard. He was also very conscientious. Because he was such a devoted conservative and an important part of our national conservative family, Brett had earned the respect of both the local and national conservative communities. Brett’s relationship with his family was described as both close and solid. Recently, Brett’s father Rick had an uphill battle against ALS, and Brett wanted to make a difference for people who were fighting the disease in a similar fashion. Even though it was a very painful time for Brett, the death of Rick as a result of ALS motivated him to push even harder to find a solution for the disease. Because of the appreciation shown to him by members of his community, Brett was presented with the Queen’s Jubilee Medallion as a token of appreciation. Brett was a devout follower of Christianity. It was an essential component of all that he accomplished. He exerted a lot of effort to ensure that our nation would continue to practice religious freedom, and he consistently put the needs of others above his own. After the diagnosis of Rick’s condition, Brett’s father gave him a verse. To quote Brett, it was “the best gift.” In memory of Brett, may the words of this verse bring us all some solace today. “There is nothing for which you should be concerned; rather, you should pray about everything. Tell God what you’re going through and praise him for everything he’s done for you. Then you will be able to feel the peace of God, which is beyond everything that we are able to comprehend. As you continue to live in Christ Jesus, His peace will keep watch over your hearts and minds. Those verses from Philippians 4:6-7” We are going to miss you, Brett, on behalf of everyone here in the office as well as the rest of the Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies family. Obituary
