Chris Bowen Obituary Death -Our deepest condolences go out to Chris Bowen’s family and friends on the loss of their dear friend and companion, Chris Bowen, who passed away on July 31, 2023. He was a lot of things to a lot of people. A beloved child of Suzanne and David Bowen; a cherished sibling to Adam Bowen; a cherished uncle to Arthur; a beloved cousin, nephew, and godson; and a dear friend to innumerable others.

Chris Bowen was one of a kind in ways that cannot be adequately described. His absence will be keenly felt. He was incredibly open and trustworthy, as well as hilarious, quick-witted, clever, and completely devoid of prejudice. He had quick friends, many of whom stayed his friends for the remainder of his life. Chris has spent the last 17 years building relationships that will last a lifetime through his work at CityNews 660, a local radio station.

Recently, he has thrived when given the opportunity to innovate behind the microphone, and his success has only increased after taking on a management role as Managing Editor. A memorial service will be held in Kitchener-Waterloo at a later date. Friends and family of Chris are cordially invited to a gathering at St. James Corner, 1219 1 Street SW, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Anyone in the Calgary area is welcome to attend.
