Chris Ingram Obituary, Death – Mike Ingram and I, Dan Ingram, want everyone to know that we are passing along the word that our father, Chris Ingram, passed away yesterday night after a valiant fight against cancer. It is with a heavy heart that we do so, and we want everyone to know that we are passing on this information. Chris Ingram has been undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments for his cancer for quite some time.

We have been rendered speechless by the outpouring of love and support that we have received from his network of friends in a variety of locations, and we are really grateful for this support. You can count on receiving additional information about the arrangements from us as soon as the details of the agreement have been ironed out and confirmed.

At the church of St. Andrew, where we first met, your father and I introduced ourselves and greeted one another. Following that, we both settled on the idea of signing up for the swimming team at our former school, Creston High. That was the happiest I’ve ever been in my entire life! When I think about Chris, one of the most prominent things that comes to me is the amount of resilience he exhibited in the face of the difficulties that life provided to him.

Even when things got difficult, he never gave up and gave in. Because of this particular circumstance, I have a tremendous deal of regard for him as a person. You, Chris, will always have a very special place in the hearts of a lot of different people. I hope and pray that at some point in the not too distant future, you will be able to find some serenity.
