Daniel Long Obituary, North Wilkesboro Fire Department Member Has Died joy anchie, August 9, 2023 Daniel Long Obituary, Death – Daniel K. Long, 62, of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 21, 2023 in the comfort of his own home. Although he was born in Shamokin, he has spent his entire life in the Ridley area. His parents, Charles K. and Virginia H. Leiser Long, both passed away. Prior to working for Ridley Township, Dan held positions as a ground handler for American Airlines and USAir. Dan’s most recent employer was Ridley Township. He was a member of the Ridley High School class of 1978 when he graduated. Dan was an amazing pitcher for the baseball team he played on while he was a young man and was a member of the Folsom Boys Club. Dan cherished his trips to Florida, where he could play golf and watch baseball games played at spring training camps. He was a devoted supporter of the Philadelphia sports teams and frequently attended games with his family. Both Teamsters Local 312 and the International Association of Mechanics and Aerospace counted him as a member at one point or another. He really treasured the time he got to spend with his beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews when the entire family got together. In addition to that, he cherished the role of parent to his dog Philly. Dan was the devoted brother of David C. Long and his wife Aundrea, Laurie A. Marshall and her husband Paul, Elizabeth Pasternak and her husband Mike, Mark C. Long, and Lisa J. Pisani and her husband Ed. Dan is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews as well as seven great nieces and nephews. Obituary
