David Preston Obituary, Death – A very close friend of ours and a veteran race official, David Preston, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday after a very brief and brief illness. As a direct result of his departure, the Round Mull Race team is dealing with an overwhelming sense of bereavement at this point. Dave had been a member of the team for a considerable amount of time, and with to his many years of experience and his dry sense of humor.

he was able to keep us and our competitors in good order despite the numerous hurdles that are presented during a race around Mull. Dave had been a part of the team for a substantial amount of time. Dave had been a part of the group for a significant amount of time prior to this point. Dave had piled up a significant amount of time on the water, sailing everything from flying fifteens to the H boat Rainbow and then advancing to a She 9.5 Shenanigan,.

which was a vessel in which you were more likely to be offered a cheese board than a spinnaker sheet when sailing downwind. Dave’s experience included sailing everything from flying fifteens to the H boat Rainbow and then progressing to a She 9.5 Shenanigan. It was impressive to see how much experience Dave had on the water.

Throughout the sailing season that took place between 1992 and 1993 at the Oban Sailing Club, Dave served as the club’s commodore.  At this time, our thoughts are with Sheila, Keith, and Niall, as well as the rest of the extended family. We are very sorry for the loss of your loved one. We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your loved one. It is almost probable that the music of Mull will not have the same feel to it if Dave is not around to contribute to it. This much is definite.
