Derek Cooke Obituary, Edgarstown Residents Association Former Chairperson has died

Derek Cooke Obituary, Death – The news that our friend and former chairperson, Derek Cooke, had passed away early this morning has left us in a state of indescribable agony and has left us unable to move forward with our lives. Earlier on in this year, cancer was determined to be Derek Cooke’s diagnosis. A sizeable portion of Derek’s life was devoted to serving as a volunteer for the Edgarstown Residents Association and assisting the other individuals who made their home in this region. He spent a major portion of his life engaged in this line of labor.

His friends in Edgartown will remember his dedication, commitment, and hard work here in town with a nice and fuzzy feeling in the future. In the future, they will think back on it. Derek played an important part in the process of laying the foundation for ERA, and his vision is primarily responsible for the fact that we would not be the organization that we are right now if it were not for the efforts that he made. If it weren’t for him, we would not have been able to create ERA.

We want his family and friends to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers and that we are thinking about them as they are going through this terrible time with him. We want them to know that we are thinking about them.
