Donald Butterfield Obituary,  Death – It has been determined that one of the individuals who passed away as a result of an accident that took place over the weekend in a rural region of Morton has been found and identified. According to a press release that was issued on Tuesday by the Tazewell County Coroner Charles R. Hanley, a man named Donald Butterfield, who was a resident of rural Tremont, passed away as a result of many injuries produced by blunt force after being involved in an accident involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.

According to the news report, Butterfield suffered from blunt force injuries. According to the report of the coroner, Butterfield’s death was the result of many injuries that were brought on by blunt force. According to the press statement that was issued after the incident, Butterfield was the rider of the motorcycle that collided with the car.

The statement was issued after the incident took place. At all occasions, Butterfield safeguarded his head by using a protective helmet.  He had 67 years under his belt. The toxicological tests on the subject have not yet reached their conclusion. On Sunday afternoon, at approximately 1:48 p.m., the incident was reported to the authorities who handle emergency situations. In a short amount of time after the occurrence was reported.

Emergency services made their way to the spot near the intersection of East Jefferson Street and Washington Road in order to conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.  It wasn’t until 14:43 that it was determined that Butterfield had indeed left this world; he was a beloved member of the community. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently being conducted by the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, the Illinois State Police, and the Tazewell County Coroner’s Office respectively.
