Eddie Boyle Obituary, O’Neill Pipe Band Clontibret Chairman Has Passed Away joy anchie, August 7, 2023 Eddie Boyle Obituary, Death – During this terrible time, the Committee and the members of the band would like to extend our most sincere condolences to Eddie Boyle’s extended family. During the many years that Eddie served as Chairman of the band, both of his sons Noel and Gabriel were members of the band and played the bagpipes. Eddie marched with great pride beside both of his kids. He was always highly meticulous in how he handled fundraising events, which was a major element of his position in raising vital funds to keep the band on the road and was an integral component of the band’s overall fundraising efforts. He was always extremely thorough in how he handled fundraising events. Regardless of the weather, Eddie would be on the wings of the band directing everyone and keeping everyone in line. He never failed to come up with a witty quip to wind Peadar up, much to the delight of the other members of the band. Together with us, he traveled all over the United States, going to a wide variety of cities and locations, including Birmingham and the Isle of Man. We will be thankful to him for the rest of our lives because he was the committee’s steady rock during its deliberations. We are devastated to share the news that his old ONPB comrades will now remember him as one of the most loyal supporters we have ever had. I am thankful to you for everything, Eddie, and I pray that you will find the peace and comfort that you deserve. Eddie Morgan will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Clontibret with his family members Brian and Lorna Morgan today at 11 in the morning. Obituary
