Elisam Santana Has Died, Beltzville Lake, Obituary Press And Death Cause

Elisam Santana Obituary, Death – A man who perished in Beltzville Lake on Sunday afternoon has had his identity revealed. Elisam Santana, 19, of New Jersey, was confirmed as the deceased by Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller. The deceased will undergo an autopsy on Tuesday morning, according to Miller. On Monday morning, emergency personnel found the body.

The body was discovered next to the Pennsylvania Game Commission barn on Pohopoco Drive, close to the intersection with Lakeside Drive, according to Ben Monk, manager of Beltzville State Park, who confirmed the event Monday afternoon. It was an emergency on our neighboring property, according to Monk, so rangers from the Department of Community and Natural Resources, the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, and himself responded to the call.

When the fire companies began to send their water rescue teams and dive teams, Monk stated, “We got there, got the gates open, assessed the situation. “When the Game Commission arrived on the scene, we turned the incident over to them,” said the (Pennsylvania) State Police. At first, authorities claimed a 13-year-old boy fell underwater and didn’t emerge until around 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Crews returned to the lake around 8 a.m. on Monday after the search was called off Sunday night. The body was found on Monday around 10:19 a.m. In a cove off Pohopoco Drive, search teams were at work. The Pennsylvania Game Commission, the dive team from the Lehighton Fire Department, the Towamensing and Franklin Township fire departments, the rangers from Beltzville State Park, and Whitehall Fire and Rescue all contributed to the search effort.
