Emily Stevens Obituary – Emily, our beloved daughter, sister, friend, and the center of our universe, passed away in a tragic accident on July 30 alongside her loving husband, Jearan. Emily is survived by her parents, Crystal and Vern, older sister, Amber (and her husband Chad), and older brother, Nathan; aunts, Shannon (and her husband Mark) and Dana (and her husband Martyn);

uncles, Vince (and his wife Pat) and Devlin (and his wife Pat); uncles, Barry (and his wife Hattie) and Jason (and their spouses Carrie Dvernychuk); and cousins, Claira, Camille, and Devin ( Emily’s best friends, Abby Cnudde and Kaylee Laurie, and all of her other friends and family members, will miss her dearly. Small “boyfriend” Sterling Proutt will miss Emily terribly.

Because of Emily’s example of unconditional love, Sterling will take this feeling with him as he grows into manhood and treasure the time they spent together. At the Tyndall curling club, Emily began playing the sport at the tender age of five, and she never missed an opportunity to lend a hand to her father, Ron, with the ice or any other event that required it. Emily was a big fan of the great outdoors, and she frequently went snowmobile racing with her sister,

fishing with her dad, camping with her mom and brother, and generally hanging out in the pits with her pals. At any young age, she could be located in the great outdoors. Emily’s infectious chuckle had the power to brighten any atmosphere. When you needed a good laugh, she was the one to deliver it. She was the kind of buddy you could always count on in a pinch.
