Eric Elza Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Eric Elza joy anchie, August 8, 2023 Eric Elza Obituary, Death – We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Eric Elza, who served as a councilman for the City of Miami Springs and was a resident of the city for a very long period. During this trying time, we want to let his family and friends know that they are in our thoughts and prayers. Eric graduated from Parsons High School in 1978 and went on to have a successful career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where he worked in a number of different sites across the country until retiring. He found pleasure in riding Harley Davidsons, barbecuing and smoking meat, and playing the guitar in his spare time. Before he got sick, he enjoyed going deer hunting quite a bit. He is survived by his wife, Susie (Delaney) Elza, of Morgantown; his daughter, Stacey Elza and her husband Adam Komisaruk, also of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Josephine and Alice Komisaruk, also of Morgantown; his brother, Bill Elza and his wife Tracey, of Parsons; and his sister-in-law, Lindsey George, of Springfield, Virginia; all of whom were by his side when he passed away. In addition to them, he is survived by a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a sibling named Todd Elza. His parents and brother both passed away before him. Donations in memory of the deceased can be donated to the Dementia Society of America through their website at www.dementiasociety.org.
