Evan Kinley Obituary, Anderson Coroner Names 15-Year-Old Killed By Falling Tree

Evan Kinley Obituary, Death – The Anderson County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that personnel were dispatched on Monday afternoon in response to an incident in which a tree struck a 15-year-old boy in Anderson County. According to the information provided by the Coroner’s Office, the incident took place along Arnold Drive near Kings Road at approximately 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while strong storms were occurring. The victim apparently stopped by his grandparent’s house during the storm and was standing at the entrance to the garage when a large tree reportedly became uprooted, fell, and landed on him. The Anderson resident Evan Kinley, who was 15 years old at the time of his death, was named as the victim by the Coroner’s Office.
