His love for study inspired many in his immediate vicinity to go on their own individual intellectual journeys. His participation in conversations was consistently enlightening, and it sparked contemplative discussions that made a lasting impression on everyone who had the good fortune to speak with him.

Knowing that he had a life that was worthwhile before he died comforts us when we think of him.
