George Donahue Obituary, George Donahue has passed away joy anchie, August 8, 2023 George Donahue Obituary, Death – We are writing to inform you of the demise of the President of the POA, George Donahue, and it is with a heavy heart that we do so. The passing of George occurred this past week. If you knew George and would want more information about the funeral arrangements, or if you would like to help the family with the Meal Train, or if you have any other questions, please send a private message to the Board or send an email to forestpark111poa@gmail.com. We have called an emergency meeting of the board for Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00 am. The meeting will take place at the pavilion at the Wilson Robinson Parks and Recreation Complex, which is situated at 13975 SW 174th St in Archer, Florida. Due to George’s passing, there are now just two members on the board, but in order to successfully run the company, we need at least three people. During this short meeting, we hope to appoint a property owner to a position on the board that will serve in an interim capacity through the month of November in 2024. By sending an email to forestpark111poa@gmail.com, you can let us know as soon as possible if you would want to be considered for the position, and this will allow us to bring ballots to the meeting. Voting for the interim position will be limited to only those individuals who are physically present. The annual meeting that will take place on November 19, 2023, will contain more appointments to the Board. You should look for copies of this message in both your physical mail and your email. Someone who is able to participate actively in Board decisions is required to fill this role before we can move further. Someone who lives on their property and is able to collaborate with the Board to guarantee that our roads are kept in good condition is the ideal candidate. George had been doing most of the road work himself, and the interim Board member does not need to commit to completing that job; but, they will need to work with the Board to aid our contractors and owners who will be doing the work within our budget. George had been doing most of the road work himself. Please send us a message or an email if you are able to assist with roads in any capacity, even if just temporarily, but do not wish to serve on the Board.During this challenging moment, I want to express my gratitude for your understanding and compassion.
