Gordon Hands was a huge advocate for the theater. In 2004, Gordon accepted the position of Chairperson of the cherished Friends Of The Grand membership. He carried out this responsibility with an incredible amount of pleasure and commitment. In 2017, after serving in that capacity for the previous thirteen years, he passed the chairmanship on to the current chairperson, Richard Bourne, while continuing to serve on the committee. A scant four weeks had passed since Gordon’s previous gathering, which took place on July 10th, 2023.
