Ivor Morrison Obituary, Donaghadee Male Voice Choir has died

Ivor Morrison Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you that another longtime member of the Donaghadee Male Voice chorus has passed away. It is with great regret that we must share this news with you. During the time that he was with us, he made a number of important contributions to the chorus, and we would like to use this occasion to express our gratitude to him for all of his hard work.

Ivor Morrison CBE fell dead suddenly on the morning of Wednesday, August 8, 2023. He was a member of the Order of the British Empire. The victim passed away in the wee hours of the morning. He was a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE), one of the country’s highest honors. During the occasion, he was presented with the honor of CBE status.

In addition to having served as Chairman of the choir in the past and being a Life Member of the organization, he was also a member of our 1st Tenor section for a significant portion of his time spent with the choir. This participation spanned the entirety of his involvement with the choir. This decision, which has already been decided, will not receive any further commentary at this time, as it has been made.

The many hours that I spent with Ivor, talking, drinking whisky, listening to music, and telling stories are some of the most memorable times of my life. During those periods, we committed a significant amount of our time to being together. The DMVC has been dealt yet another blow that will be extremely detrimental to their goal.
