James D. Draper III Obituary, VA Bespoke Sport Brand Ambassador Has Passed Away joy anchie, August 8, 2023 James D. Draper III Obituary, Death – It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the news of the untimely passing of our Brand Ambassador, Colleague, and dear Friend, Mr. James D. Draper III, who received his wings to return home to be with our Heavenly Father this early morning. James D. Draper III was a dear friend. James D. Draper III served as the Creative Director and Face of VA|BESPOKEĀ® Sports Golf throughout his time there. The effort that JDDIII showed to establishing VA|BESPOKEĀ® Sports a household brand was unmatched; his clear vision and kind attitude will undoubtedly be missed for many years to come. It is not impossible that Draper’s interest in sports was inspired in some way by his own father, who was an accomplished athlete. David’s collegiate athletic career included stints in both basketball and baseball. After that, he went on to teach a variety of sports for close to half a century, including golf, where he led the Martinsville High School (Virginia) team to six consecutive district titles, three regional titles, and three individual champions from the state of Virginia. In every sport he coached, he was recognized as the district and regional coach of the year. Draper elaborates by saying, “He is currently a professional bowler and plays golf both right and left handed.” The legacy of his father’s achievements will continue to live on in Draper. He has experience coaching high school students in golf, tennis, and basketball, in addition to being a mentor and a certified mental health practitioner. He is also a golf historian. With more than ten years of expertise in the industry, he is currently serving as the Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor at the Family Preservation Services located in Martinsville, Virginia. Even more impressive, he is nearing completion of his degree in golf at Winston Salem State University, where he is also a member of the school’s varsity golf team. Obituary
