James Marshall Obituary, Death – On Sunday, we suffered a great loss as we said goodbye to one of the most loyal and dedicated members of our booster group. He will be much missed. It has recently come to light that Mr. James Marshall is currently in the company of his heavenly father. There are going to be a lot of individuals that miss him very greatly. He was a devoted follower of the Mavericks basketball team. On February 20th, 2023, James “Jim” Marshall passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Some of the people who continue to carry on his legacy include his wife, Russ Pickens, as well as his sisters, Julie Papen and Cindi Marshall. Jimmy was a student at Seth Lewelling Grade School, Rowe Junior High School, and Milwaukie High School. He was born in the city of Milwaukie, which is located in the state of Oregon. While he was a student at Milwaukie High School, he participated in a singing group called the “Pony Pipers,” which performed in various locations. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts throughout his whole childhood and is overjoyed to have earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a result of his dedication to the organization.

After a year at SOC and participation in a lot of other fascinating activities, he eventually landed on a career as a Baker and worked for more than 20 years at a number of Bakeries in the Portland region. This month, there will be a gathering of close friends and family members to mark a special occasion in a low-key manner.
