Jani Tossavainen Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Jani Tossavainen joy anchie, August 9, 2023 Jani Tossavainen Obituary, Death – Respected colleagues, This announcement has been well overdue for a very long time, but it is still difficult to write. A little over two months ago, our brother and drummer, Jani Tossavainen, passed away. Some of you may have already heard this news. He spent his dying moments doing what he loved most, banging at those drums, and we are sure that he is doing what he loved most today in the company of Lemmy, Cliff, and Dimebag After much discussion and deliberation, we came to the conclusion that the best way to honor Jani was to perform at the Pannonian Rock Festival as scheduled. Everyone who will be going there is invited to celebrate his life with us and carry on his legacy. Let me wrap this up with a passage from Lutrizio, one of our songs that is Jani’s favorite: “Instead of sobbing my goodbyes, I scream what I have come to realize is real, “as long as I am alive, the memory of you will also be alive.” He was able to make the most of the time he had left by indulging in the pursuits that offered him the greatest amount of pleasure. After a great deal of discussion and consideration, we arrived to the conclusion that the method in which we had first wanted to honor Jani would be to carry through our intentions to play at the Pannonian Rock Festival as we had initially intended to do so. This was the conclusion that we arrived at following a great deal of argument and discussion. Following a considerable amount of back-and-forth deliberation and discussion, we arrived at this conclusion. Everyone who will be present is extended a heartfelt invitation to take part in the celebration of his life and the continuing of his legacy together with us. The location that has been selected for the occurrence of this event is correct. He was able to spend his final moments doing what he loved the most, beating on those drums, and we have no doubt that he is continuing to do what he loved the most today in the company of Lemmy, Cliff, and Dimebag Darrell. He was able to spend his final moments doing what he loved the most. He was able to spend his last moments engaging in the activities that brought him the most joy. Obituary
