Jeff was able to get his feet wet in a variety of different positions around the department. In addition to his employment at Parklea before to the company’s privatization, he also spent several years serving as a teacher at the Academy. Additionally, Jeff served as the communications and catering officer for the Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department (RFS). Sincere condolences to the departed’s family and friends. While we are saddened by his loss, let us also use this opportunity to celebrate the dynamic life he led and the great impact he made on the lives of so many. During this difficult time, our thoughts are with Jeff’s family, friends, and coworkers, as well as anybody else whose life was enriched by the fact that he was in it.
