John Pearson Obituary, Death – The Laker family has been through a terrible ordeal, and unfortunately, one of our instructors lost away as a result of this. When John Pearson passed away on July 27, 2023, he had fought a lengthy and drawn-out struggle with his health for a period of time equaling a period of time equaling half a year prior to his passing. Pearson had a stellar reputation among his student population for his teaching abilities in the subject areas of chemistry, physical science, and robotics.

He fought until his very last breath to be able to go back to the classroom that he enjoyed so much, bringing with him not just his humorous abilities but also his passion for teaching. On August 13, from 5 until 7 o’clock in the evening, there will be a visitation at the Billman Hunt Funeral Chapel. At the address 2701 Central Avenue NE, you’ll find the funeral home. There will be a Mass held on the Sunday, August 14, at 11 o’clock in the morning.

There is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist that may be found in the community of New Brighton. Following the memorial meal that had been held at Columbia Golf Club in honor of John’s life and as an homage to his passing, everyone gathered around for a moment of silence. Purple is the color that members of the Lakers community are urged to wear to the memorial ceremonies in recognition of the unwavering passion that he showed toward his students and Southwest High School.
