Keeley Durnan Obituary, Death – Keeley Durnan, a girl from Dublin, had been given a diagnosis of brain cancer the previous year, and she had abruptly departed away one month before to the announcement of her diagnosis. Her parents have shared the horrifying story of their ordeal with other people and have made an impassioned appeal to the parents of other children to always look out for what is in the best interests of their own children.

After the event, her father, Alan, was cited as saying in an interview with the Independent that, “Keeley started working in a restaurant and she had a bad fall, and she just wasn’t herself, she didn’t have the same spark in her legs that she normally would,” following the incident. Keeley had been injured in the fall while she was performing her job at the restaurant.i.e. We took her to the emergency room and requested that a brain scan be done, but the doctors said that she was too young for the procedure.

As a response, they stated that “We don’t think it has anything to do with each other, she needs a vacation, she needs a break.”
We were disheartened by that, but the physician shared our sentiments, so we packed up our belongings, boarded a plane, and traveled to Croatia for a little vacation there.

In the evening, she had a seizure episode, and we rushed her to a hospital in Dubrovnik, where the level of care we received was significantly more than what we had anticipated receiving. There, medical personnel determined that she was suffering from a DIPG brain tumor to describe her condition. Someone provided me with a graph that compared the chances of survival for the various types of cancer, and the DIPG had a likelihood of fewer than two percent, which was near the bottom of the list.
