Keith E. Lawson Obituary, Death –  On July 8, 2023, Keith Eric Lawson, who was 62 years old and a resident of Oberlin, Pennsylvania, passed away in a serene and uncomplicated manner. Keith is the son of his late mother, Sharon Ann Lawson, and his father, Roosevelt Lawson Jr. He was a native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he was both born and raised. Following the completion of the Vocational and Technical School and the acquisition of his diploma there, Keith went on to launch a fruitful and successful career in the plumbing profession. As one of the first famous Black businesses and master plumber tradespeople in the Harrisburg area, Keith rose to prominence at this time.

Keith was a very committed member of the community who was involved in the process of supporting people in the achievement of a second chance in life. He did this by providing assistance and encouragement to those who were being assisted. In his spare time, Keith enjoyed watching movies, listening to R&B and soul music, and watching Dallas Cowboys games on BET. These kind of music were also some of his favorites to listen to. Keith’s favorite way to pass his free time was to hang out with his loved ones and deliver jokes to his friends and acquaintances.

Keith’s maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Tessie Mae Lawson Sr., as well as his nieces Devina Warren and Sabrina Lawson, as well as his stepson William Henry Thornton Jr., all passed away before him. Keith was also predeceased by his mother. He leaves to mourn his special lady in life, Celeste Donaldson, daughters Mariah Lawson and Semone` Lincoln-Donaldson, stepchildren Shaunte Sloan-Ambush and Nakia Sloane Ritter, his brothers, Roosevelt Lawson III, Ronald Lawson Sr., John David (Gloria) Lawson, and Dr. SherrieAnn (Penelton) Clark, his god-daughter McKenzie Alston and a host of other relatives and friends.
