Kilkenny Ireland: Peader Malone Obituary, Lady Desart Choir Core Member Has Died joy anchie, August 9, 2023 Peader Malone Obituary, Death – These past few days have been very difficult for all of us in The Lady Desart Choir due to the demise of our dear friend Peader Malone, who we have known for many years. In 2018, Peader joined the choir, and almost immediately after his arrival, all of the other singers fell head over heels in love with him. He gave the LDC his complete attention and dedication, and as a result, he never missed a single show, practice, or other social event of any type. He always had a smile on his face, with the exception of the times when we were learning new songs (the words were his worst enemy!). Despite this, he sung the songs as loudly and passionately as he could. During the time that he was a part of the choir, he was able to cultivate many deep and significant friendships that he would treasure for the rest of his life. We are all completely shattered by the news. May you finally find peace, Peader. Everyone here will miss you very much once you have moved on. On August 3, 2023, Peadar passed away peacefully without experiencing any pain. The nurses and doctors at the Nore Ward at St. Luke’s Hospital were providing him with outstanding care during his stay there. His maternal grandmother Johanna, paternal grandfather James, and paternal, maternal, and maternal maternal brothers Seamus, Michael, and Noel all preceded him in death. His daughters, Fiona, Sinéad, and Joanne look up to and respect him as a father figure. Peadar’s cherished daughters, sisters Margo and Ann, sons-in-law Claude, Vincent, and John, grandchildren Sinéad, Aedin, Aoife, Seán, and Caoimhe, great-grandsons Ewen and Evan, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends will miss him terribly. Peadar’s passing will also be deeply felt by a large group of friends and acquaintances. Obituary
