Krystal Cascetta Obituary, Mount Sinai Queens has died joy anchie, August 6, 2023 Krystal Cascetta Obituary, Death – Today I learned the tragic news that my oncologist, Dr. Krystal Cascetta of Mount Sinai Queens, has passed away. A frightening and horrible accident that took place. She was a standout in her area, known for her dedication and beauty, as well as her intelligence and ability to compete. Several years after I had surgery to treat my cancer. She and I co-hosted a talk on breast cancer, and she included me in some innovative research and clinical trials. Because of her, I decided against taking part in a trial that required me to undergo chemotherapy. It’s late, I’m upset and shocked, and I’m exhausted, so my thoughts aren’t quite coherent right now. I’m also recalling how afraid I was for mom when she was called to work in the emergency room (ER) at the time that Astoria/Elmhurst. Was the epicenter of the epicenter of the entire world. (This is not an exaggeration; we did, in fact, have medical tents and refrigerated morgue trucks on 30th Avenue.) I don’t think she had the proper training for that kind of work, but because of this call to duty, our scheduled appointments had to be rescheduled, and I was so worried about her safety. I don’t know what was going on in her life that led her to believe that this was the best way for her tale to come to a close, but I do know that a significant number of people who survived, patients, and coworkers are heartbroken about it. I am going to miss her very much. She had a genuine concern for her patients, and I am grateful to have benefited from it. Obituary
