Lauren Pikor Obituary, Death – The family of a lady who was found tragically stabbed outside of her home in Oak Forest on Friday night has begun an online fundraising campaign in order to provide financial support for the daughter she left behind. The death of 30-year-old Lauren Pikor was ruled a domestic incident by the Oak Forest police department.

The incident took place on Friday, August 4. Chad Oster was able to keep police at bay for several hours during a standoff on Saturday afternoon, which led to his eventual arrest by the authorities in connection with her death. In a Go Fund Me page, members of Lauren Pikor’s family said, “Lauren Pikor was a loving mother, sister, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend.

“Lauren was a devoted single mother who worked hard and strived to be an incredible role model for her daughter. She was always there for her daughter in every way.” She was successful in her chosen profession, and she remained steadfast in her beliefs all the days of her life. She was adored beyond description by a great many people. Her daughter and the many other people whose lives she changed will carry on her legacy. As of six o’clock on Saturday evening, the police had not yet announced any charges against Oster.
