Laurie Mazza Obituary, Death – After a protracted and difficult struggle against cancer and a variety of other diseases, my mother, Laurie Mazza, passed away earlier this week. Some of you may have already been made aware of this fact.

There are not enough words in the English language for me to adequately express the kind of magnificent woman that my mother was, and everybody who ever met her or interacted with her was aware of the kind of stunning and remarkable women she was.

I am well aware that this will be challenging, but I truly feel that Mom is with us in our thoughts and memories, and she will continue to occupy a place in both my heart and my mind. I pray that God will bless you, Mama, since I love you so very much. You should go to Heaven and be the magnificent angel that I am sure you will be there.

At the Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco, Texas, there will be a visiting service for Mom tomorrow (Tuesday 8-8-23) between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM. Anyone who knew her through me or who participated in sports activities with her knew that she had a deep love for all of you and encouraged you to stop by whenever you had the chance.

We are grateful to everyone who prayed for us and/or made a financial contribution to help support our efforts. You are all in our prayers. My parents and I have an enormous amount of gratitude toward the many people who assisted us in overcoming the challenges we had along the way.
