Luke Mackelvie Has Died, Obituary Press And Death Cause joy anchie, August 5, 2023 Luke Mackelvie Obituary, Death – Luke Mackelvie died in a horrible accident over a week ago. This week, I keep saying I’m glad I knew Luke. He accomplished more in 25 years than most individuals do in a lifetime. I met Luke at Ambrose my first day. He promptly invited me in and laughed about his last name. Luke was always up to something, whether he was late for a group hang because he had to fix his truck or he was planning a CL scheme. We played worship teams, had classes, and cooked breakfasts and hung around with the crew. Luke shared Jesus’ love and lived consciously and selflessly in every situation. Luke was a great friend to myself and others. The Ambrose community he built changed my life in ways I can’t describe. I looked to Luke for advice, insight, and support once we graduated and became youth pastors. Luke always noticed the one, made everyone feel seen and recognized, and had time for you. It was a privilege to watch Luke minister, care for others, and fall in love with Kim, who adored and complemented him. Kim, you bless us. Luke’s good qualities apply to you too. There was joy and community wherever Luke was. Though intentional and entertaining, he made everyone see the bright side. Luke brought Micaiah and me into the most dangerous situations, yet he also listened to our struggles and supported us. Luke was one of the first individuals we told we were together and has been one of our most supportive and consistent friends since we got married, helping us move our belongings up 9 flights of stairs in our first apartment. Luke believed in people and loved them like Jesus—he made me a better leader and friend. Obituary
