Mark Edward Fancher Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Mark Edward Fancher joy anchie, August 5, 2023 Mark Edward Fancher Obituary, Death – On Monday, July 31, 2023, at the age of 51, Mark Edward Fancher, the Chief of the Crocker Fire Department, passed away in his home in Crocker, Missouri. He was surrounded by his devoted family at the time of his passing. He had spent his entire life in the state of Missouri. Visitation will be held at Crocker High School on the Saturday, August 5, 2023, commencing at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 1:00 p.m. The funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Crocker High School, which will serve as the venue for the event. Following the conclusion of the service, the burial will take place at the Antioch Cemetery. The arrangements and care for the deceased are being handled by the Wilson Mortuary in Salem, Missouri. They are in charge of these responsibilities. Mark is survived by his loving wife: Amy Fancher of Crocker, MO; children: Maggie, Mark, Madalyn, and Marli Fancher all of Crocker, MO; grandson: Waylon Howden and one on the way; mother: Marilyn McAlpin of Crocker, MO; sister: Jeanne Mason and husband Jim of Crocker, MO; niece: Jewel Mason; father-in-law: Jerry Helms; mother-in-law: Judy Kelley and husband Jeff; as well as a large firefighter family, extended family, and dear friends. His original father, Edward Fancher, as well as his stepfather, Truman (Mac) McAlpin, and his grandparents, Noble Wall, William (Bud), and Dollie Fancher, all died before he did. Edward Fancher was his biological father, while Truman (Mac) McAlpin was his stepfather. Edward Fancher was the name of the man who raised him.
