His life will be honored on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Taughannock Falls State Park’s North Point Pavilion in Trumansburg, New York 14886, starting at 1:00 p.m. Come and tell us about your greatest Mike recollection, a humorous Mike story, or how Mike changed your life. He was conceived on July 16, 1975, in Danbury, Connecticut, by the late William Holcomb and Kathryn (Langley) Holcomb. Mike was a big man with a personality that was far larger than his size and a heart to match. He was the first to aid someone in need, had a loud, booming voice, laughed easily, and had the best bear hugs because to his abnormally large arms. His pals have compared him to Peter Pan, Paul Bunyan, and a teddy bear. He loved riding his motorbike, working on power tools in his man cave, completing crossword and sudoku puzzles, canoeing and hiking in the Adirondacks, awful action movies, dining out, and supporting the perpetually disappointing Buffalo Bills. He also made a good stir-fry. Mike is survived by his wife Carrie Holcomb, children Audrey, Zach, and Natalie, mother Kathryn Holcomb (Jim VanDusen), sisters Kelly Parker and Kathy (Bob) Burdick, in-laws Laurie and Bill McGuire, brothers-in-law Christopher (Sarah) McGuire and Kellie McGuire (Christopher Spatz), as well as a sizable extended family. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Obituary
