Miguel Gregorio Obituary,  Death – On the evening of August 2, police from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) located in Barangay Gulod, Novaliches, within the city of Quezon, were successful in apprehending a jeepney barker. Earlier in the day, it was alleged that he had stabbed a sales associate. A man named Joel Marimla, who is 25 years old and lives in the barangay of Gulod, has been determined to be the suspect in this case.

The preliminary investigation found that the victim, Miguel Gregorio, 23, was shopping soap at a sari-sari store on Sta. Barbara Street in Brgy, Gulod, at approximately 4 o’clock in the afternoon when the suspect suddenly rushed from behind and stabbed him in the neck with a bladed weapon. The investigation also revealed that the suspect fled the scene after the attack.
The victim was sent in an emergency to the Novaliches District Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries by medical professionals.

Both the witness and the victim’s live-in partner, Jeanel Millar, were the ones who initially informed the officials of Brgy. Gulod about what had happened. After then, about 9:30 o’clock in the evening, the officials of Brgy. Gulod approached the police and asked for their assistance. The PS 4 conducted a follow-up operation, which led to the suspect being captured in his apartment, where he was hiding out, where he had been hiding out. After conducting an inquiry, it was determined that the suspect’s weapon could not be located.

At this point, the authorities are continuing their investigation into the suspect in order to determine the reasons behind the criminal act. The information provided by the police indicates that the victim moved into the area somewhere in the vicinity of one month ago. Marimla will reportedly be charged with frustrated murder before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, as stated by the Quezon City Police Department.
