Mony Opazo Obituary, Death – We like to express our deepest condolences to everyone as we share the news that our cherished mother, Mony Opazo, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. In the country that she cherished, Chile, she had just returned from when she passed away abruptly and unexpectedly. There are no words that can adequately explain the depth of our loss or the weight that it has caused in our lives.

There is not a single action that we could perform or word that we could express that would do justice to the level of respect that she deserves. Her kids adore their mother. Her grandchildren have nothing but praise for her. She has taken care of numerous people, including her own children-in-law, if they were her own.

Her spouse and eldest son Gabriel are still with her in Chile, and her younger children, Monica and Ramon, will arrive tomorrow to begin the process of bringing her back to Canada for her burial and last resting place. Her husband and oldest son Gabriel are currently with her in Chile.

We are thankful that she is surrounded by family members who have been there for her during this process. We are grateful that our mother was able to pay her last respects to her parents just a few days before she passed away, and that she is now reunited with them in the afterlife. The specifics of the funeral and burial arrangements will be communicated at a later time.
