Morganne Jones Obituary, Native Of Utica NY Has Died Away joy anchie, August 4, 2023 Morganne Jones Obituary, Death – On August 1, 2023, Morganne A. “Moe” (Bennett) Jones, 30, unexpectedly passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. She was conceived on January 26, 1993, in Provo, Utah, and was the child of Scott M. and Elizabeth (Johnson) Bennett. She was born, raised, and received her education in New York Mills, New York, where she also attended high school. She pursued her study further and received a Master’s in Accounting from Utica College. Jacob Jones and she got married on January 27, 2018. Morganne was a freshly promoted Branch Chief with DFAS in Rome, New York, a position she attained through her commitment and hard work. She belongs to the North Utica American Legion Post 229, among other organizations. Moe was a voracious reader who also loved music, camping, and shopping. Her fondest moments were always those she shared with her family. Her husband Jacob, her two sons, Max and Ace Jones, her mother, Elizabeth (Johnson) Rice of Mexico, NY, her father, Scott M. Bennett, her second mother, JoAnn M. (Chiarello) Bennett, all of New York Mills, her sister Samantha and brother-in-law James Lee, brother Michael T. Bennett, step-sister Alyssa Bassett of Hinesville, GA, and two step brothers, Christopher Bassett of Yorkville, NY, and Tyler . She is also survived by her in-laws, Nichole Jones and her boyfriend Eric Markwardt of Middleville, NY, Stephanie and her wife Holly Jones of Columbus, OH, as well as many close friends. She is also survived by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dick and Judy Jones of Schuyler, NY. Her babci, Josephine Bennett, as well as her paternal grandparents Gary and Debra Bennett predeceased her. Visitation will take place at the Wolanin Funeral Home, 266 Main St., New York Mills, NY, on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00. In addition to her Mass of Christian Burial, Morganne’s burial service and Celebration of Life will take place on Monday at 10:30 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in New Hartford.
