Nanna” Kathy Francis Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Hahndorf Town Band life member and “Band Nanna” Kathy Francis. We are forced to do so with a heavy feeling of regret in our hearts. Kathy Francis was known as “Band Nanna.” During this difficult time, she is being remembered in our thoughts and prayers along with her loved ones and friends. During this trying time, she is being kept in our thoughts and prayers, along with her family and friends, as well as everyone else who was close to her.

Kathy was a reliable member of the band her whole life, and she contributed in a broad variety of different ways throughout the course of her career there. Along with being a member of the women’s auxiliary, an early member of the Hahndorf Junior Band contest committee, and the administrator of our Junior program, she was also a dedicated member of the HTB committee. In addition to that, she was a member of the HTB committee for a period of time.

Her enthusiasm for brass band music was only rivaled by her love for her family. There was nothing else that could equal to it. There was nothing else elsewhere in the world that could even come close to being able to compete with it in any way, shape, or form.
The band will miss her tremendously not just because to the talents she possessed but also owing to the kind and sensitive way she carried herself toward everyone she came in contact with.

She will be greatly missed by the band for both of these reasons. Due to both of these factors, the band will miss her presence among them significantly. An occurrence that occurs “one in a million” times is exceedingly improbable to take happen in the future.
During this very trying time, we would like to offer our most sincere condolences to Brian and the rest of the Francis family. We know that they are going to need them. We are aware of the struggles that you are now confronting. We are conscious of the fact that each of you is currently confronting a difficult situation right now.
