In 1990, when we initially got together, both of us were still just teenagers at the time. You are without a doubt one of the most funny people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When our business was looking to fill a position at the beginning of the year 2000, I instantly thought of you as a potential candidate to fill that role.

During the course of the interview, we came to the conclusion that we should hire you. Traveling in the carpool lane typically provided an unusual experience. On Monday mornings, I knew that you would have some new story or experience to tell that would make me laugh and cry at the same time.
