Ealy Obituary, Death – The Columbus Police Department has made public the names of the victims of a shooting that took place on the east side of the city of Columbus early on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after noon on that day. According to the statements made by the police, Nicholas L. Ealy, age 41, and Alberto C. DeLeon, age 69, were both shot and killed in the 1400 block of East Mound Street. Both men lost their lives as a direct result of the incident. The shooting occurred somewhere in the middle of the day at roughly 12:35 local time. The responding police officers found that one of the victims had been shot and was suffering from the wound when they arrived at the site. It was established that he had gone away one minute and one second after arriving at Grant Medical Center, where he was brought after the incident. He had been sent there. The second victim, who was found by emergency personnel at the Ohio State University East Hospital in critical condition, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1:14 p.m. after arriving there in a critical condition. The name of the hospital where the dead man was brought by the police has been hidden from public disclosure.
