Brian Obark, a valiant paramedic who has been battling cancer for a very long time, passed away this morning. He put up a tough fight against the illness for a very long period. During Brian’s time at Monroe Ambulance, he collaborated closely with our staff on various projects. It is due in large part to his efforts that so many people in our town are now enjoying better health than they were in the past. During the time that he was employed at Monroe Ambulance, Brian worked side by side with our staff. The news of Brian’s passing this morning has left us in a state of profound sadness, and we will always appreciate the memories we have of him. This morning’s news has left us in a state of profound loss. The news of Brian’s departure, which we received this morning, has left us in a state of tremendous grief. We are keeping Brian, his cherished family, and all of his friends and coworkers in the Monroe County Emergency Services in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
