Orion Bekelja Motorcycle Accident, Death – Volunteer fireman Orion Bekelja passed away unexpectedly and in a sad manner, and as a result, all of us at Citizens Fire Company No.1 in Penbrook are in a state of denial and hopelessness as a result of the devastating news. In 2011, when Bekelja first began working, he joined our fire department as a volunteer. Since then, he has moved up through the ranks.

This was the very first job he ever had. He continued to serve freely in that capacity until the end of his term in 2015, which brought an end to his service. After that, he did not serve willingly in that role again. Since Orion’s return to the organization in September 2022, he has been actively involved in the operation of the organization on a day-to-day basis.

In addition to that, he is currently serving in a leadership capacity within the division. At the same time, Orion volunteered his services as a firefighter for both the Steelton and the Swatara fire companies. He served in both of these capacities simultaneously. Make sure that the Orion family and anybody else who is close to them is included in your prayers and thoughts by making sure that you keep them in mind.
