Paul Moretti Obituary Death – Paul A. Moretti, a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 47 on August 1, 2023. Paul is survived by his parents Jean and Nick Moretti of Basking Ridge, New Jersey; his brother Michael and his wife Deirdre of Basking Ridge, New Jersey; and his sister Laura Reece and her husband Stockton of Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Paul was the entertaining uncle of his nieces Vivienne, Elise, and Eleanore, as well as his nephews Galen and Griffin. Paul was an individual with a passion for music, film, and photography. His grin was brightest when he was doing the things he enjoyed the most, from skiing in Vermont to concerts and comedy shows in New York to boogie boarding on the Jersey shore. His unmatched ability to cite movies in nearly every conversation was unrivaled.

His nieces and nephews adored hearing Paul’s “funny voices” because they sensed his youthful spirit. Paul’s generosity touched so many people. He is fortunate to have a community of loving friends and family. In the past few days, we have enjoyed hearing your anecdotes and viewing pictures of Paul the most. It provides us with immense solace. At this time, Paul will be honored in a private ceremony on Long Beach Island, New Jersey, by his immediate family.

At a later date, we will celebrate Paul’s life with extended family and friends. Paul assisted others with kindness and went out of his way to do so. In the spirit of service, we ask that you honor Paul by lending a helping hand to someone in need, no matter how minor.
