Phil enjoyed cooking, excellent food, friends, golf, snow skiing, the great outdoors, and spending time with his family. His adopted daughter Shelly Jamison (Victor Armendariz) regarded him as a father figure. He was a wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren Jake and Max Jamison. Phil was especially devoted to his wife of 46 years, Elin Jeffords. He will be remembered for his laid-back demeanor, fondness for a good joke, and appreciation for minor pleasures.
