Reg Charles Obituary, Reg Charles has passed away joy anchie, August 3, 2023 Reg Charles Obituary, Death – Reg Charles, Sheila’s father and a veteran of World War II, died away not too long ago. On behalf of everyone here at Routes of Remembrance, we would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Sheila and the rest of her family on the occasion of this terrible loss. Sheila Charles’s father was a man named Reg Charles. At the height of the Covid Pandemic, the very first Route of Remembrance was held. We firmly persuaded him and the other veterans of D-Day to organize memorial ceremonies in their own homes so that their wreaths could be safely gathered and placed on the trains. This was done to ensure that the veterans’ wreaths were not lost or stolen. Because of this, he and the other veterans would be safe from harm if we did this. Despite this, Reg went one step further to disseminate the information by allowing ITV News West Country to conduct an interview in his home. This was in addition to releasing the news to the local media. This was done in an effort to get the word out to the greatest number of individuals feasible. After that, Reg enrolled in the same community radio station again the following year, and then the following year he joined the station. In addition to this, he would participate in online debates and instruct classes with academic institutions that were located all over Europe. In addition to being a finalist for the Soldiering On Awards in this year’s competition, he has just recently became a patron of The Veterans Charity. We are going to miss him very much, and we are going to do everything that is in our power to ensure that the important educational legacy that he has left behind via his work is carried on after he is gone. You have more than satisfied your obligation, Reg; you may finally relax now that everything has been taken care of. Obituary
