Robert Thomson Obituary, Death –  We must share the news of Robert (Bobby) Thomson’s passing with you all at this time, and it is with heavy hearts that we do so. In 1949, at the age of 13, Bobby enlisted in the 44th. He worked his way up through the ranks, and in 1979 he was promoted to the position of captain, which he maintained until 1993. After that, he was given the position of President, and he presided over our 100th anniversary in the year 2001.

As a result of his long association with the 44, Bobby was able to have a significant impact on the lives of a huge number of young boys and adolescents by setting a good example for them.
